Duck breast with White Truffle Honey
This recipe will definitely leave you and your dinner guests at awe! It doesn’t require long preparation times and with just a few ingredients you can bring to the table one unforgettable dish. Trust me on this one!
Ingredients (for 4 people)
2 duck breasts
1 tbs raspberry (or honey) vinegar
80 g of white truffle honey
Preparation: Cook the duck breasts for 10 minutes placing the skin part of the breast on the pan. Its important to leave some natural duck fat under the skin, so don’t remove this – it adds to the flavour of the cooked breast! Flip the breast and cook the other side for another 10 minutes. Place the breasts apart. Chop the shallots and place them in the same saucepan. Add vinegar and white truffle honey. Cook the shallots until caramelized. Place the duck breasts in the same pan letting the meat warm up again. Cut the duck breast into slices and serve the meat with some sauce on top. Add some sesame seeds to taste and enjoy!
