Recipe for Rustic Pie with fontina cheese and potatoes 

Preparation time: 45 minutes

With just a few ingredients and little time you can create this fantastic pie! It’s a great way to start a meal with some friends – simple and delicious. Of course accompanied with a glass of wine takes it to the next level.


1 puff pastry roll
4 potatoes, thinly sliced
300 grams of Fontina cheese, diced
1 sliced onion
 a pinch of rosemary

Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Help the potatoes get rid of their natural water by having them stand in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Roll out the pastry on a round baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Fill the pastry with layers of potatoes, fontina cheese that has been cut into cubes and thin slices of onion. Add rosemary and salt lightly. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
